WinSPC version 8.2.2 has been released and is now available for download. Customers with a active ESC (Extended Service Coverage) account are eligible to receive the new version.
WinSPC 8.2.2 is a maintenance release that introduces two new features and fixes a variety of issues that have been reported by our customers.
New features in WinSPC 8.2.2 include:
- A new user and user group permission to control access to the external web links in the help menu.
- Two new OLE/API methods for the WinSPC Data Collection object to facilitate device prompting (one method to prompt the current device, and one method to prompt all devices).
The defects fixed by this release encompass many different areas of the product, including the legacy reports, data collection, datasets, report templates, devices, and administrative tools.
