WinSPC version 8.2.0 has been released and is now available for download. Customers with a active ESC (Extended Service Coverage) account are eligible to receive this new version.
WinSPC 8.2.0 is a feature release and some of the new features introduced include:
- Multiple enhancements to the Variable Analyzer:
- Additional chart types ("X-bar/R/MR", "X-bar/S/MS", "X & MS") are now available
- New statistical tools to analyze the distribution of your data
- Ability to edit historical data, notes, assignable causes, and corrective actions through the Data Point Viewer
- Exclude, unexclude, edit assignable causes, corrective actions, or notes across multiple subgroups at a time
- The chart now supports zooming
- View both the historical and re-calculated control limits on the chart for easy analysis
- The chart title can now be customized to automatically contain the name of the part, variable, or chart type.
- New 'Defaults' tab in the User and User Group allows for the configuration of user preferences.
- New cost model properties to handle a wider variety of configurations for use with the WinSPC Cost Inspector.
- Station aliasing, which allows a collection plan to be configured so that data collected for it at one station is recorded as coming from another station.
- WinSPC is now theme aware, meaning is is capable of adopting the current Windows theme on the computer on which it is running.
