This feature allows the Admin user to change which User Name and password that WinSPC uses to login in to WinSPC database. The Change Server Login must be changed in WinSPC before modifying the database owner and password.  Note: This utility does not change the User Name and password in the database, but changes which account WinSPC will use to login to the database.

  1. Log in to WinSPC as the Admin user.changeserverlogin.jpg
  2. Select Tools from the menu bar and click on Change Server Login.
  3. In the Change Server Login dialog box that is displayed, enter the required information…
    • Password used for the Admin account in the Administrator Password message box.
    • User Name and Password for the database server in the New Server Login message box.
    • Click on the OK button.
  4. Close out of WinSPC
  5. Using the database software, change the database owner and password.
  6. Login to WinSPC and verify that the change was successful.
